This first press cuvée 100% Chardonnay de Cramant champagne, from vines that are over 30 years old, is endowed with mineral flavours that are almost chalky.
The exceptional freshness of this 1995 vintage has been admirably preserved over the years.
Tasting
A pale yellow colour with glints of green and a line of fine bubbles evidence the preserved youth of this
great wine.
The attack on the palate reveals lovely acidity on an underlying minerality.
The finish is exceptional pure and elegant.
Wine and food
Serve at 12° to ensure none of its aromatic depth is missed.
On special occasions it is ideal as an aperitif, with black pudding and apples or with sea food.
