THE 1995 VINTAGE

"A mild and very wet winter was followed by a very warm first two weeks in April. April was marked by extremes of temperature. May and June were similar. Then some lovely summer conditions arrived and everything followed on. Flowering was very rapid. The grape harvests started anywhere between 18 September and 3 October. The Chardonnays gave quite powerful wines with plenty of vivacity in which citrus, white fruit and exotic fruit aromas dominate.
